Class of 2020 for BLM

After the murder of George Floyd, the Nathan Hale High School Racial Equity Team began planning a march. On the morning of May 30, hundreds of people gathered to march in protest against police brutality. Graduating seniors of many high schools that were invited were encouraged to wear their caps and gowns to commemorate young people killed by police who would be graduating in 2020 if they were still alive.
The audio below features an interview with Hemani Kalia, an inspiring organizer of the march. In the interviews Hemani describes the march as well as personal inspiration for working toward racial justice.
