Land Acknowledgment
Truth and reconciliation are critical to building mutual respect and connection across all barriers of heritage and difference.
May we begin this effort through land acknowledgement. This project takes place on the unceded ancestral lands of the Coast Salish, including the Duwamish People past and present. A people that are still here and always will be, may we continue to honor their ancestors past, present, and future. This acknowledgement does not take the place of the work necessary to remedy injustice through beliefs and actions, but may acknowledgements help us to grow in the right direction.
